Hello from the other side of the holiday! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas! We had a great, low-key holiday. Just the 4 of us. As much as I’d love to spend the holidays with our families it’s very important to me that my kids wake up in their own home on Christmas morning. We’ve got our own traditions. We have matching stockings, we bake and frost cookies for Santa, the girls get squeaky clean and then we track Santa in our Christmas jammies! The girls have had matching Christmas jammies every year and this year was no exception!
And just like last year I made matching jammies for their dolls. Well, coordinating, anyway. I gave the girls a few pattern options for their pajamas this year and they picked the Dreamland Nightgown by Peek-a-Boo Patterns. The little one is very much into nightgowns these days because, well, she’s very much into dresses. And the big one insisted that I make the long version of the nightgown.
And I decided to take it up a notch this year, mostly because I ordered way too much fabric, and make myself a matching pair!
I used the Beauty Sleep pajamas pattern for mine. (I was planning on using the matching Alex and Anna Winter PJs for the girls, but again, they wanted a nightgown) These are some comfy pajamas!!! Especially in this Riley Blake knit! Unfortunately the fabric was a tad too girly to make hubby a matching pair……
…maybe next year.
