Something is wrong with the rest of my family. They don’t like avocado. I don’t understand why hubby doesn’t. I can kind of understand why Cupcake doesn’t (because she doesn’t eat anything!!!!). Though, I did eat them a lot during my pregnancy, and while breastfeeding, and it was her first food, so I kind of don’t understand why. Anywho, more for me.
And sometimes you don’t want guacamole. Or sometimes you have avocados on hand, but not what you need to make guac. But you should have the ingredients to make Creamy Ranch Avocado Dip on hand. At least I almost always do.
This comes together so quickly and is a great dip for chips or veggies. And you can easily customize it to taste and texture. Be careful, though. You may just gobble it all up in one sitting.
Ingredients
- 2 ripe avocados
- 1 package ranch mix (3 tbsp)
- Greek yogurt
Instructions
- Mash the flesh of the avocados in a bowl. Add the ranch mix and a dollop of yogurt and combine. Add more or less ranch mix or yogurt to taste.
See, I told you it was easy. Enjoy!!!

I love avocado! Such a shame the rest of your brood doesn’t, just means more for you:)

Yes, it’s good and it’s bad. I don’t really need to eat two whole avocados by myself in a day……. but it sure does taste good!!
Yum- that looks amazing! I LOVED avocado through most of my first pregnancy. I’m waiting for that love to return and will definitely be making this if it does!

I hope you do get the taste for avocado because it IS good!
Oh yes, I could eat lots of this! We love avocados but typically have them in guacamole. This is such a nice change! Would love it if you’d share this at Saturday Share With Us!

Avocados are commercially valuable and are cultivated in tropical and Mediterranean climates throughout the world. They have a green-skinned, fleshy body that may be pear-shaped, egg-shaped, or spherical. Commercially, it ripens after harvesting. Trees are partially self-pollinating and often are propagated through grafting to maintain a predictable quality and quantity of the fruit.,
