I’m Heather.  I’m a stay at home mom (SAHM) to Cupcake (Corinne) and Pumpkin (Alyssa).   Just because I don’t work outside the home doesn’t mean I don’t work.  I can easily stay busy!

I’m no one special.  I’m not a teacher. I’m not an interior designer.  I’m not a professional photographer.  I am not a chef.  I’m just a mom who likes to dabble in many things and share my adventures.

I hope you’ll find something interesting around here and keep coming back for more.  If you like what you see let me know.  If you don’t, sorry.  Maybe you’d politely like to tell me what I could do differently?  Or maybe you’ll just walk away.  I do hope you’ll stay, though.

  1. Hi, I’m Jesse

I’m a newbie entrepreneur. I’ve created an awesome calendar I think your readers will love: http://NeuYear.net
It’s stylish, slightly innovative, and super useful for planning goals and dominating 2013.

I was wondering if I could send you one for free?
If so, email me your address!

If you like it, I’d love to partner and:
    – offer a giveaway of some calendars to your readers
    – offer your readers a 30% off discount code
    – offer you $5 per sale you refer (I use neuyear.zferral.com)

Not only will your readers benefit, you’ll get a little money too, just in time for the holidays.

    Interested?

Email me your address and I’ll send you a free calendar!

  2. Heather: I just love that you embrace your SAHMness. Back when my kids were born (in the early 80’s), SAHM’s were thought of as lazy and had no goals. I was determined to rise above those feelings and enjoy raising my girls. We did so much and had alot of fun. I did day-care, crafted and canned to sell at church sales and eventually had home sales during the holidays, had time to go to the zoo and playgrounds, went to library and sat through hundreds of story-times (sometimes reading to kids myself), baking and cooking which always ended up messy and funny. So, so many things that I would never change. Looking back, I am grateful that I had the opportunity to STAY HOME AND DO NOTHING. Thanks for celebrating the greatest job a woman may be blessed to get hired for.

    • Thank you! That is so sweet! I love being able to spend so much time “doing nothing” with my girls. Being able to be creative makes me a happier mom and that only benefits my girls. And the oldest is starting to get crafty with me, which I LOVE!

  4. Hi Heather,
I discovered you via November 2104 Blog Hop over at Bloggymoms.com.

I snooped around a little. Everythings very well done! I did notice your store, Hsquared that you’re in Miamisburg, Ohio! Is that still true? I live in West Carrollton and work at Miamisburg High School.

    Small world, huh?

    Robyn
